ALTIN ÇİNİ CERAMICS
Altın Çini was founded in 1983 with the aim of producing, developing, and elevating traditional Kütahya tiles to their deserved place by utilizing modern technology.
Altın Çini began its operations with two large classic well kilns and a team of fifty employees, making its first export to Germany in 1987.
Completing its institutionalization process in 1988, the company transformed into Altın Çini ve Seramik Sanayi A.Ş. With the increasing demand for tile panels, it utilized the technology of that time to enhance production and meet market needs. In 1995, alongside tile production, the company expanded into the manufacturing of ceramic tiles and borders, commonly used in kitchens and bathrooms in Kütahya, a city known for ceramics. By 2010, it also added floor ceramic production to its portfolio.
The company has contributed to numerous religious and civil architectural projects both in Turkey and abroad. It produces mihrabs, pulpits, lecterns, muezzin platforms, and wall tiles for mosques. These are crafted using hand decorations, mass-produced panels, belt verses, and custom-cut designs for specific areas. By using different tile sizes such as 20x20, 20x25, 20x50, 25x33, 25x40, 30x60, and 40x40 cm, we create spacious and elegant designs. We consider mosques as our shared heritage and the house of God.
We have successfully revived the production of 16th-century Classical Iznik Tiles (Stoneware), which are resistant to all weather conditions for exterior applications. These tiles are used in various architectural structures such as buildings, city entrance gates, hotels, and clock towers. Additionally, we produce decorative items, including large and small souvenir plates, vases, panels, and figurines.
With these efforts, we strive to create works worthy of our religion and ancestors.
Established in 1983 with a capital of 50 million Turkish Lira, our factory has grown to a team of 350 employees, achieving an annual production capacity of 650,000 m² of tiles and 6,000,000 m² of ceramics. Currently, we export 30% of our ceramic production and 50% of our tile production.
Altın Çini ve Seramik Sanayi A.Ş. is the only production facility in Turkey that revives traditional Kütahya tile-making techniques, combining industrial and artistic tile and ceramic production.
